Speaker 1: I love coming to Dr. Stuart's office because it feels like I'm seeing my friends and I feel like they're like family. They know who I am. They ask me personal questions. They know about my life.

Speaker 2: Dr. Stuart himself is an awesome guy. He's really nice, makes you feel comfortable, you know. Everything just seems to go really smoothly here.

Speaker 3: Legacy Smiles’ staff is very great about explaining what they're going to do next, the steps they're going to take, how long it's going to be. They're very informative and it kind of eases your mind a little bit.

Speaker 4: They're really good on the scheduling. They get you in and out. Lisa does a really good job at making sure that you find something that's convenient for you. They're very flexible.

Speaker 5: I've had a few times where I've had to make appointments, and I know that he's been at home with his family, and he's always willing to come in and help out. He's been very supportive. He's always willing to go the extra.

Speaker 6: You know, the way he presents the care and treatment is a little bit easier to listen to. You don't feel like, hey, there's something wrong. You just feel like, hey, here's what we're going to do to help you improve what you have going on.

Speaker 7: They work very well with my insurance plan and just working on things if you need a payment plan. They ask you, too, “How would you like to do it? How would you like to pay for it? Can we help you?” No intimidation on that part.

Speaker 8: It was a very good investment for me to do what I did here, and I don't feel self-conscious about smiling anymore.

Speaker 9: You never really think about a dentist as being somebody important in your life, but they truly are. I've recommended Dr. Stuart and his staff to a number of people because if you want the best, this is it.

In my effort to always deliver excellence, obviously that means that we have got to stay on the forefront of technology, historically speaking. Nowadays, computers in every operatory are just standard. You are just going to see that, but I have been doing that for 27 years. Since then, we were among probably among the first to adopt everything digital so we have gone to digital X-rays. Digital X-rays, they actually produce ninety percent less radiation. Less radiation exposure to the patient is ninety percent less than on your conventional X-ray that we used to use. That is a huge reduction. We recently purchased a cone beam CT scan which also – the traditional CAT scans that you get at hospital is a different type of technology and much, much more radiation. The newer cone beams deliver, once again, deliver a fraction of the radiation, and we get literally a really cool three-dimensional picture that we can spin in space and look at it just like a CAT system that improves our diagnostic abilities probably a thousand fold. Just with it alone, just within the past month, we have found things with that that previously would have gone completely undiagnosed. We wouldn't even have been able to see them let alone diagnose what was going on. That is an incredible tool.

The other thing that we were the very first people to adopt in the state of Montana was the Biolase laser. We have a lot of years of experience with that laser now. It will cut hard tissue meaning teeth and it will also cut soft tissue just by changing the settings. It is the one piece of equipment that the FDA has approved for actually cutting teeth and doing everything that we do with it.

We have always tried to be on the cutting edge of technology even with implantology. We started doing that, I had interest in that very early in my career just because, like I said, I enjoyed surgery so I thought that was the natural progression, and I wanted to see if we could give people something better than a bridge or a denture or something like that. I wanted to make things permanent but a nice balance between those two. To be able to replace a missing tooth without destroying the other teeth to do it, like with a bridge or something, is pretty nice. And so implants, I guess, is just one of those areas where we try to stay on top of technology too.

Dr. Stuart believes in the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest and greatest technology in order to provide the highest quality of care possible to his patients. Legacy Smiles employs the use of digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, cone beam CT scans, as well as text and email reminders for appointments. We also utilize laser technology to detect and remove cavities, treat gum disease, and assist in cosmetic procedures. Keeping up with the best technology aids us in providing top-notch care to our patients.
